I have lost the air suspension in the front end of my Lincoln. I have checked on replacement parts and everywhere I check it is in the neigborhood for $500 + to replace the parts. I also checked on conversion kits but its expensive. Can I just put regular shocks on the car? I know I will lose the "air ride feel" but right now I just need to get my bumper off the pavement and be able to drive the car. Can I do this without a conversion kit?

NO! The air in the air springs is what give you the right ride hight, not shocks...

Check part suppliers for air suspension parts.
