V6 problem started with car not starting in PARK and has escaleted to not wanting to go into PARK. when selecting other gears it seems very sloppy. car has approx 150.000 miles on it. is it possibily the trans cable ?? Any help would be greatly appreieated. Thank You..George

Have seen many of the Ford columns break on top , the tans selector . If the column is lowered you will probably see what im talking about.
