i need help trouble shootung my starting circuit

My wiring doesnt go back that far. Start with thestarter solenoid on theinner fender next to battery.1 small wire should have power with key in crank position if has power and no start, check for power on the opposite side of thesolenoid to see if it is switchuing on. If yes on bth sides starter is bad if no power on both solenoid is bad
