Limp mode?

Hi,

This can be a few different things. If you have the vehicle in park, can you rev it past 2,000 RPMs? Also, are you sure the catalytic converter isn't plugged?

Have you checked to see if there are diagnostic trouble codes stored? If you haven't checked, I recommend doing so.

In it does fine but there's it will still do it in park but not often. I can't check it even though it's obd1 but it has an obd2 port.

Okay, so is the transmission not shifting gears or does the engine just have low power? What codes did you get, and did you check the catalytic converter?

Loss of power won't shift out of first and I cannot get the codes due to OBD2 port OBD1 system.
