Car goes into limp mode, wont pass 4,000 rpm's. When i turn my car off and back on it will go past 4,000 for about a minute then it will go in limp mode. i have a bad CV boot i don't know if that code be it. no check engine light only ABS light is on. the code scanner read a vtec malfunction i changed the vtec solenoid it still happens. o2 sensors and shift solenoid acceleration is really bad. what is the problem? i have been trying to figure it out for months the guy i bought it from said he switched the engine but i am not sure if he really did, but if he did could it be one of the computers?
