Turned the lights on and noticed I had no parking lights or running lights and my brake lights are on even when I am not pressing the brake.

I was trying to find a diagram to show me each location to test my lights at. The other day I got into my car and turned the lights on and noticed I had no parking lights and running lights and my brake lights are on even when I'm not pressing the brakes. At first my license plate lights weren't working and randomly started again not sure when or what happened for them to start. Right now, I've wired up something that works just temporarily just bulbs soldered to wires grounded and powered by connecting it to my amp in the back. Since running and park lights are always on together, but I'd like to fix them if I can. Not too sure where though.

Hi,

By chance, are the front parking lights and turn signals working? I'm asking because it could be a faulty ground.

Also, under the dash at the top of the brake pedal is the brake light switch. Make sure it isn't out of adjustment or stuck.

I attached the wiring schematics below for the exterior lighting for your review. These are everything but the headlamps. Also, here is a link you may find helpful.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe

See pics below. Note: The pics below came from one page. I had to cut it in half to make it readable for you. I did overlap them so you can follow from one to the next.
