Lift gate not working

Lift gate module changed with new one and still not working. Maybe the strut must be change also. I’m just wondering?

Let's start by checking the fuses. here is the tailgate wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works and which fuses the check. here is a guide to help with that and the fuse location as well:
