Hi,
White smoke usually indicates that coolant is entering the combustion chamber and burning with the fuel. This is usually the result of a faulty head gasket.
Has the coolant level been getting low? Is there any indication of the coolant mixing with the engine oil?
Take a look through this link and see if anything mirrors what you are seeing.

Let me know what you find. I can provide the directions for gasket replacement if needed. Also, you may want to scan the computer to see if there is a code specific to one or more cylinders. Here is a quick video showing how it's done.
