so I was going to change the bulb. I got the light out and changed bulb and went to put back in slot to screw it back on, and the light fixture fell down in the hole and I can't fit my hand down in it to find it. What do I do?

Fashion a hooked tool out of a piece of mechanic's wire.. That's just soft steel wire on a roll. You can make a stiffer version of the same thing out of a piece of coat hanger wire. Pass the hook around in the hole until you snag the wires, then gently pull them up and out.
