A friend of mine has a '98 lexus sc 300 with a 3.0 liter v6. she recently started getting horrible fuel mileage and experienced a substantial loss of power. she brought it to a master mechanic and after scanning the car he stated that bank 1 sensor 1 was bad. is this the sensor i can see inserted into the side of the exhaust manifold? he also quoted her a 600 dollar parts and labor charge. so at about 10 hours lf labor, or so he says, i am wondering if he is overcharging her and if i am looking at the correct part. thanks for your help
