Hello, I have two questions really. I have a 2002 Lexus RX that vibrates when I reach speeds in excess of 75 mph. What causes this and how much should it cost to fix. I have 1999 jeep grand cherokke 4.7L HOE. The engine is knocking which leads me to believe that I have a thrown rod. I would like to keep the Jeep whats the best way to replace the engine and tranny if thats what I need to do?

Lexus- start by having the tires balanced and rotated, if they are in good shape.

Jeep- I would go with a factory replacement engine. Best warranty and it is good at any Jeep dealer, wherever you are. The trans you could have rebuilt by a reputable shop, unless you want to go with a factory replacement on that as well to have the big warranty on both
