the engine will crank momentarily and then cut off. It won't run.

possible idle air control valve fail
this hapens in the morning? engine cold

So it cranks for a little bit then quits turning over? Has the battery been checked? if it stops turning and the battery is good, use a test light on the small starter wire to verify the crank signal is present
