I would like to replace myself a battery on my RX 300 1999. LEXUS dealership charges more than $200.00 !!! Are there any hidden problems associated with that: radio codes lost, security codes, or any other problems?
Thanks!

Use a jumper battery make sure its over 11 volts or better to keep it powered than remove the battery that goes with the car-make sure you don't ground the cable this way the computer will not lose its memory that can affect the components you've mentioned.

Good Luck and Merry Christmas
