Lexus says I need a new switch and that is wats wrong with the passenger side mirror. They say the drivers side needs new mirror. @50.00 for switch and 627.27 for the mirror. I find it hard to beleive that these cannot be repaired. Plus a labor charge on top. Any advice and I will be happy to make a donation.

We live in a disposable world they don't fix hardly anything anymore look at tv's when they break most of the time your better off getting a new one same thing with washer's and dryer's.With car's something like a mirror switch goes bad they replace it they don't fix it no part's available they just replace the switch. As far as the mirror goes same thing unless it's the glass they sometimes sell those and they are replaceable but the motor you replace the whole mirror from what i have seen.Your best bet is to shop around for the part's and try to save yourself the money there. Is your mirror heated or painted to match your car? Also the mirror switch you need is it located in the driver's door panel and the master mirror switch?
