My Lexus feels as if it needs new shocks. It has the air package on the shocks. Will it be necessary to replace the entire unit? What cost limits should I place on a repair of this nature.

Ok first off you have struts but that ok just terms of what it is called. Now you also have air ride control too. So with that you don't replace them like you would gas struts as they don't wear in the same manor. If you have a bag blow then you replace them otherwise it is for nothing and the cost for just the front and parts only is about $1100 dollars. The labor will be about $240 dollars. Hope this is helpful.
