2000 Lexus LS 400 Stop light bulb replacement

I have a message "Tail light out". It is the High Mounted Stoplight just inside the rear window. The Owner's Manual gives me the Bulb # 921, 18 W, Type D. I see no easy access to replace this bulb on my own. Can you direct me in the procedure to replace it by myself, or must I take it to a dealer or auto repair shop such as Firestone?

The subwoofer/high tail stop lamp are one unit. The cover will pop off the rear deck with some gentle perusasion from a screwdriver or similar. They are very tightly held though so expect it 'POP' off as the clips come away.
