MY CAR WONT GO INTO PARK UNLESS I PRESS THE SHIFTER RELEASE BUTTON DOWN. THE CAR WOULD BE IN D (DRIVE) BUT THE N (NEUTRAL) WOULD STILL BE HILIGHTED. ALSO WHEN I PUT IN R (REVERSE) IT WOULD STILL BE ON D AND N. RECENTLY MY ENGINE LIGHT JUST CAME ON.

its a simple a malfuncation there
its an newer lexus so its electronic but its gna be sum pins on your lever...JUST SIMPLY REPLACE them...
here is the CATCH...PAIN in da ass 2 get it...u would have 2 lift it out...and go under there 2 see the prob. we did thise with 1999 750li v-12...SAME EXACT PROBLEM///we thougt it was the trans going out...
