1994 Lexus LS 400 V8 Two Wheel Drive 130000 miles

Question the laser light for the speedormerter comes on usally after a bit of driving 10 to 15 minutes which has been going on for about 6 months, now the last two days on engine start-up the whole dash board flickers before completely lighting up. Is this a fuse or electrical problem.

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a short in the left rear tailight, However, my problem only happened when you stepped on the brakes. This is not an uncommon problem in the LS 400. Look for a ground short that may be causing this.
