Looking at the wiring diagrams, the only place these two systems even come close to each other is in the dash. Other than that they are totally independant.
Questions; Do you a digital dash?
Are your dash lights/gauges "dimable" for night driving? If they are dimable, turn the switch as low as you can, preferably off, and see what happens to the shifting. Let me know

Hello

Please go to the junction fuse box on the left side of the steering column.

There is a fuse there for “STOP” – 25A. Please pull it and then drive and see if that fixes it.

If not, replace that fuse and in the same area there is a 15A “TAIL” fuse. Please drive it again and see if that fixes it.

Let us know.
