I am leaking oil pretty bad. I have to add oil about twice a week. I was told my a mechanic that my engine seals are worn and need to be replaced. I need to know specifically what type of engine seals is he referring to? And how much can I expect to pay for a repair like this? Is this something you would recommend I do own my own?

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation,

I will need to know which seals are leaking to be able to advise you on what is best to do, I will also need to know your level of expertise on working on cars and equipment at your disposal.

somebody told me it might be the timing belt. Have you had yours changed and if so how much did it cost.

Hi there,

The timing belt won't be the cause of any oil leaks, you will need to get engine seals, oil pressure sender & filter checked for leaks first.
