500 miles after new rear brakes, preventive maintence and an oil change the oil light came on. When they checked I had lost 2 quarts of oil. The People who did the repair said they could not find anything wrong. My car continued to grind and squeak? Today was my THIRD time taking it back. Now it needs new tires, new front brakes and I found the leak when they had the car lifted. They said it needs a new head gasket. HELP???? Traci
How can I tell if the rear brakes were replaced, the rotors look like the same ones. Can a brake pad, if put in incorrectly cause a tire to wear down? HHEELLP!!!

brakes should not affect tire wear enough to make them go bad, to tell if the brakes were replaced the best way is to look for rust, if they are rusted and flakey then they wernt replaced.
