Transmission problem
2005 Lexus ES 330 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 70,000 miles

Over my 70,000 miles I have had the trans fluid changed once and have also had 2 complete flushes. Recently trans fluid has been over heating and been blowing out of vents. Lexus Dealer stated "no problem" and handed me a $70 bill. Took car to a specialist who determined convertor was failing and now I have a $3400 bill. Warranty has expired. Under these circumstances would I waste my time appealing my case to Lexus to pay for this repair? Any comments are appreciated. Thank you.

Hi there,

You have nothing to loose by approaching Lexus and having a word with there customer relations people, if you have all the paper work, you may have a case of mis diagnosis, but in the end it will be there decision if they want to assist you in this problem.
