Just had the cabin air filter changed. We have noticed the ac light on the button is blinking. No cold air. The repair shop says it does not need freon.
Could it be from when the air cabin filter was replaced that is making it blink and blow hot air? Is there a wire that they could have bumped that is causing this?
Thanks.

I had this same problem with my 2003. Es 300. There is a fan clutch relay under the hood that causes this when it is faulty. I replaced this relay for about $13 and it fixed it.
