2002 Lexus ES 300 Timing belt

The timing belt was not changed on this vehicle when I bought it at 86,000 and I know that it is overdue. Question is until I can find a place to get this taken care of at is there anything to watch for as far as signs of this starting to go out? I would not want to do any damage as a result of continuing to drive this car in need of the repair. PLease Help. Thanks

The timing belt goes when it goes unpredictable -best just have it replaced
