car reves up and down . and this seems to happen after i fill up. Bought a new gas cap for it since that is what one of the autopart stores said to do.

Check engine light and Trac light is on, Auto Zone gave me a code of 5441, and said it is a dealer's code.

Most likely you have the wrong code #
suggest having the codes check by another tech or place as this is not an understandable code
P0441 is more like it and it is related to EVAP system and fuel cap

Most likely and common failure an O2 sensor
need to have the correct codes
