If you mean scolloping(bumps) wearing into the tires, then you need struts and maybe the mounts as well if there is noise, if you mean Feathering with no bumps, rotation is the answer. Struts are recommended at 50,000 mile interval. Once the scolloping occurs the tires must be replaced! New struts wont repair this damage, but new tires will wear this way with bad struts! Struts and shocks are used to stop coil spring oscillation, if bad this does not happen, and the tire actually bounces as you drive, this is how the scolloping occurs.
