Do I disconnect the battery for a bit after installing the O2 sensors to get rid of the engine light? mechanic said my engine light on is because of the O2 sensors. replaced them all but light never went away, disconnecting helps to reset computer?

Remove EFI fuse from box in engine compartment will clear code. if it resets have code read and post will advise
