From looking at repair manuals, the lexus has a transaxle with a seperate differential. I've drained and replace the transxale few month ago. Now that i want to do the differential, i noticed that about 2.5qt came out but when i fill it up, fluid starts to flow out of the filler hole after 1qt. specs call for 1.7qts. any ideas? thanks!

Hi lexuspower,

The initial amount could have been due to ovet fill and the amount filled should be correct, is it litres that you read instead of quarts?
