The power steering fluid is bubbling in the reservior and appears to be leaking from the power steering unit behing the pulley. I knoiw I have to replace the power steering unit however my question is the bubbling of the fluid in the reservior coming from the bad power steering unit or is the rack defective also.

Hi, could someone please answer this question, I am having the same problem with the fluid bubbling up in the reservior. My pump was replaced about 10 months ago. I have a leak right around the pump somewhere and need to know if this is a rack and pinion issue or the higgh pressure hose or both. also the car pulls to boths side of the road. thanks!
