1994 Lexus ES 300 ECM wiring harness

Electrical problem
1994 Lexus ES 300 6 cyl Automatic 220, 00 miles

I have a 1994 Lexus es300 that will start then stop. I had the car in the shop for 2 months and they can't find the problem. They told me that it is most likely the computer. I purchased a re-built ECM to install in the car. When I took the old computer out one of the plug-ins had a brown greasy substance going down just that plug-in. The other wires were clean and dry. Is it possilble that there is a problem with the wiring harness?

Thank you for the donation,

I would be thinking more a problem with the ECU. If you can give me the pin code and the wire colour code I can check the schematic and see what this with is controlling, but as I said I feel more a ECU problem that a loom issue.

I have replaced the ECM twice and it still does not work correctly. I will get the pin code and color code.
