I have a slow leak. I want to monitor fluid level and add API GL-5 gear oil as required.
My owners manual does not show where the dipstick and oil filler inlet is for a manual transmission.
It is not where the automatic transmission filler would be locatedaccording to the book
Where are they located.?

Hi jiannini,

Thank you for the donation.

Manual trans are not equipped with any dipstick.

There is a ffiller plug by the side of the trans body. Trans oil is filled till it reaches the level and flows out. Checking level is same, you need to remove the filler plug.

I don't have any diagrams to show so you need to search the trans central housing for the filler plug.
