Signficant Oil leak (1 qt/week). No oil on top. Under the car a lot of oil on the passenger side back-side of engine. Also on the top of the transmission close to the driver side. It pools in the indents of the transmission case (driver side).
Some have suggested cam seals. Should I see that next to the timing belt area? No oil there.
What I have eliminated by visual inspection
Oil filter, Valve cover front, the back valve cover looks ok (can't view all of it)
of interest? Right after purchasing the car it drove over a plastic carton (at freeway speeds) The carton was smashed with parts lodged under the car. Could this have ruptured some hose?
What's my next step on my visual tour.

Clean oil off engine using brake clean and compressed air (or whatever you have).

Add UV dye to oil, run a day and then check with blacklight.

You can buy kits of dye and UV light at most autoparts stores.
