So, I have an issue that my turn signal or left brake light does not turn on. I replaced the fuse for BCM5 but as soon as i lower my turn signal as if I'm signaling left it blows the fuse also if I press on the brake, it blows the fuse. What wires can i check to see if it's shorted or can it be the BCM that's bad but i know once replacing the BCM it has to be programmed. I need help please.

I don't think the BCM is shorted, more like the trailer wiring or the bulb/socket is melted, I would check out the wiring going to the trailer plug and remove the left side brake light/turn signal lens and remove the bulb for inspection this guide can help and I have included how to remove the lens/bulb for your car in the images below.
