I replaced the bulbs & checked the fuses. However the tail light, front parking light & side marker (all on driver side) still didn't work.

Checked the wiring behind the tail light and found a melted connection and some exposed wires. See pics

My question is this:

Is it possible for this to also be responsible for the front driver side parking light & side marker not working?

If not, where should I start my search for that problem?

first thing to do is trace the harness back an dcut out all wiring that is bad and replace it. there should be a ground wire and that may be the ring on end of wire that ungrounded may have caused the problem. After fixing that then have it scanned because it may have damaged the body control module. Also check parking lamp relay which is in pic.
