Left rear parking/brake light works intermittently

If parking lights are on and you hit the brakes the left rear parking/brake light goes out. sometimes the bulb works and sometimes it does not. bulb was just replaced.

Check if the bulb is fitting loose in the socket and then check the end of the ground wire for being loose. The ground attaches forward of left rear shock tower. Shown here.
