I noticed that my left door ajar the rear one was staying on. It's been on for a few days now and now my battery is dead. Where do I start?

Hi,

Is the light staying on when the key is off and removed with the door closed?

I attached a flow chart below. Do the simple test it recommends and let me know the results.

I will watch for your reply.

Take care,
Joe

I am trying to get a jump start. The interior lights have been staying on, I had to manually turn them off. The door ajar warning light goes off when I turn off ignition. That door won't lock with keypad and alarm will not set.

There's also a gurgling sound when I turn the car off.

Hi,

Okay, is the sound coming from the rear door? If the light goes off with the key, then chances of a short to power is minimized. I think the switch it bad.

As far as the lights staying on, as mentioned, it sounds like the switch If you look at pic 1, I attached a portion of the wiring schematic. I would disconnect the light blue/black tracer wire and see if the lights react differently.

Let me know.
