One bolt could not be tightened, stripped bolt or inside thread on bracket. Cannot find a replacement bracket.

Good afternoon.

The only way parts stores sell them is by buying the caliper with it. You could also go to a U-pull it yard for one but it is too cold depending on your area.

Just searching. Found advanced auto has them. I attached a link for you to view. Call them to confirm and see if they can get it if they do not stock it.

Thanks Roy. I tried buying it from an auto parts store, was assured that the bracket came with the caliper but there was no bracket with the caliper. Parts man told me that the front caliper came with the bracket, but I did not check assuming that it was different from the rear. Other parts store here in Canada told me they did not have a listing for it.
A Chrysler dealer told me I had to buy the whole rear axle, as the bracket was part of the axle.
Have spent countless hours searching online, I researched Advanced auto, before I found this forum, and still I am not sure if their bracket would work for the rear as the bolts they show are different from the bolts on my van. Some listings on eBay show a bracket but checking further they show it is for the front and not the rear. That is why I am so confused.
I will call Advanced auto parts tomorrow.
As you suggest I will try a wrecking yard too.
Again thanks for your help, it is greatly appreciated.

No problem. You can always repair the hole. There is a kit called a Heli coil kit which will bring it back to original hole size and threads. Parts stores should have them as well.

Okay, make sure you take a sample of the bolt with you to match the threads.
