Left hand mirror trim installation

I am trying to fit left hand side mirror trim do I need to take mirror off?

Hello,

Can you take a picture of the trim piece you are referring to with your smartphone and upload it here? That helps us out a little more and them I can add more instructions. I've attached a picture below to see if this is what you're talking about. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
