The directional on the left side of my explorer stopped working. I went to change the bulb and found the brake light isn't working either. I have checked fuses, bulbs and the wiring in the steering column and nothing seems to fix it. What could the problem be?

check gry/brn wire at taillight to see if there is power or not. this can be a smart junction box problem or a multi function switch. to check switch check the vio/wht wire coming from it on steering column. it will probably have to be scanned for codes to check the junction box. Also check the blk/gry wire at lh rear of truck
