Left blinker flashes really fast

Left blink flashes fast the bulbs are good. i want to check turn signal flasher but cannot locate it. can something else make the turn signals do that? if not where do i find the flasher?

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

The system is designed to flash double time when there is a bad bulb. Are you certain that they are all good?

As far as the flasher, it's behind left hand side of instrument panel, above the data link connector. I attached a picture of it to help you find it.

Did this just start out of the blue or did a bulb blow and now with the new bulb it flashes fast? Be sure that all of the bulbs are the correct ones and that they are not shorted internally. Next, the same flasher powers both sides so unless both sides flash fast it isn't the flasher. If you turn on the hazard lights do those all work? How about if you turn on the head and marker lights, is there any change in the speed of flashing?
