LED Steering Wheel Wiring?

Want to know how to properly power these aftermarket carbon fiber steering wheels that come with a red and black wire only. One is 12v power, the other I guess is for ground/negative. Is it possible to tap into the volume SWC harness or the clock spring harness?

I would not tap into the SWC harness or the clock spring harness. This will cause issues with the CAN system and may set off the airbag. Here is where I would tap into power from using a fuse holder with a 5 amp fuse. This is not like the good old old days where you can just find 12 volts and tap in. Here are two places to find the 12 volts power supply and you can connect the any good ground source around the dash. Check out the images (below). Let me know how it goes
