I don’t really have a problem with the truck, I was wanting to change my headlights to LED and I’m not for sure what I need.

Hello,

You can purchase LED conversion kits for your vehicle on Ebay, Amazon and most motor part outlets.

Example:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/403749517860?hash=item5e0158ba24%3Ag%3A8jMAAOSwspViv3yU&fits=Year%3A2000%7CModel%3ADakota%7CMake%3ADodge

Please note that due to the bulky ballast setup of the LED headlight bulbs the rear headlight cover might no longer fit and then you might get water entry. See image below LED compared to standard bulb
