I have purchased my vehicle for nearly a year from an online source as one of my friend's recommendation.

It is a used car but mechanically this car is wonderful. I had wondered a lot before purchasing a used car and after carefully considering, I decided to import a Subaru Impreza 2011 for sale.

However, now I would like to upgrade my leather seat. Although the seats can be folded down and I get plenty of space to haul things; there is slack in the leather on portions of the passenger side seats. Stitching was good, but they left too much leather on the sections.

Anyone have upgraded the leather seat for car before, any suggestion for me?

My guess is that it is not that the leather is slack but that the interior cushions are compressed and not supporting the leather as taut as it should be. Over time the foam used tends to get crushed and the seats look like well beaten pillows. I would try either an upholstery shop or see if there are any restoration shops around you that either do the work or can give you a place that does. Some boat shops that do custom canvas also do work like this. They can look it over and see exactly what is going on.

What I have now is an original seat cover. Have this https://www.subarupartspros.com/sku/j501ssj330.html but thinking of also switching to leather cover since it's easy to clean and maintain. If ever I would upgrade I will get a really get a little pricey cover. My brother's Subaru had a leather seat but the way it is placed is not seamless. Will look for my local dealer if they have the original cover.
