I keep getting a lean code for both banks (bank 1 and bank 2) and i cannot seam to figure out why.

Hello,
You will get a lean code on both banks if the MAF sensor is bad and needs to be replaced. When this sensor gets a little off it will cause the fuel delivery to be off because the computer sees it as less air going into the engine and gives it less fuel. This kind of problem may not give a MAF code.
