I had a valve cover, spark plugs, coil packs and oil changed all at the same time. Soon as I got the car back, I noticed right away while idling it would drop down and almost stall. I was told it had to relearn things again, but it has been 2 weeks and it’s still doing the same. And it's also still leaking oil. It’s only been 2 was and I just checked oil and it was almost completely gone!

Hi,

As far as the leak is concerned, if it is still coming from the repaired part, the shop needs to take care of it at no charge.

The idle is different. I suspect that when it was worked on, someone left a vacuum hose disconnected or broke one. That will cause idle issues, and the relearning time is over within about 5 miles.

Here is a link that explains how to locate a vacuum leak:

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
