Leaking coolant

1. Heater core has been bypassed and now it's leaking antifreeze in the middle of engine, I haven't been able to see exactly where it's coming from. Any idea's where it could be from?
2. And when standing in front of the car the fan on driver side isn't kicking on, would the cause for this be the thermostat or the water pump?

The fan won't come on because the coolant is low and the sensor can see the correct reading. The coolant leak could be a hose or intake gasket, grab a flash light and get in there to see whats up, here is a guide that can help you.
