need help , Im trying to perform a leak down test on a 2001 ford escape xlt 3.0 v6 4x4 but i cant find an adapter to fit down into the spark plug hole. I have the long reach hose but it seems it needs a long reach adapter as well do you know which one works ? . Im attaching photos of rhe leak down test kit with the grey metal adapter which looks long enough but its Not a 14mmx 1.25 like the brass adapter shown in the photo . What adapter length brand will work ? The hoses wont fit into the tapered oil tube where the spark plug is due to the length issue and taper of the oil tube there .

Yep, they gotcha on that one, none of the adapters will work for your application.

Brands/types to look for

I would search for:

OTC 14 mm long reach compression/leakdown adapter hose
Lisle 14 mm long reach compression tester adapter hose
Lang Tools 14 mm x 1.25 long reach adapter hose
Mityvac 14 mm long reach compression tester hose

The important part is less the brand and more the description: 14 mm x 1.25, long reach, slim hose adapter. Let me know if you need anything else.
