1995 Land Rover Series 3 Remote Entry System

Key fob door entry system does not operate the door locks. The electric door locks work from inserting the key and turning it. Battery store said key fob battery was bad and replaced the battery. The door locks do not work from the remote control. Checked/tested fuses in fusebox underhood..all OK. Please advise where to go from here.

RESYNCHRONIZATION Theft alarm unit remains synchronized with transmitter unless transmitter batteries are removed or vehicle's battery is disconnected. Whenever vehicle's battery is disconnected, all transmitters must be resynchronized. To resynchronize transmitter, vehicle must be in an unlocked and disarmed state. Press either lock or unlock button 4 times within 5 seconds. hope this helps
