1991 Range Rover power issue

Electrical problem
1991 Range Rover V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 177k miles

i was driving and all of the warning lights on the dashboard came on. also the gas light flashed on and off. then it started losing power as if it was turning off but i was able to get it parked. i checked the distributor lines to see if one was loose,so i tightened them. the next day i drove all day with no problems. then it started doing the same as before. not sure what the issue is.

Check the alternator and ignition switch

thank you. i noticed the only light that didn't come on was the battery. i changed the alternator
