2004 Freelander recently started having fluctuating temperature gauge which goes all the way to red at times & then back to normal without car appearing to overheat or stall. When gauge goes into red zone, I put heat on full blast but it doesn't seem to have an effect on the gauge which appears to fluctuate whether I am idol or driving.
